• The characters we know and love are all here. They are wonderful, likeable, believable. Their fates…well, for some=not great. Some parts actually made me pretty sad.
• This book is different from the rest because it takes place over a couple of days (as opposed to weeks, as the other books did) and because there’s an actual war going on. In fact, the books starts off with a bang and the action doesn’t let up until the last couple of chapters.
• The humor is great, as always. Riordan knows when to be funny and when not to be funny (something I think not all other authors get).
• The book is pretty short, though. At least for my it’s too short. Everything that needs to happen does and the ending is perfect, but I’m just not ready to say goodbye to Camp Halfblood. I mean, Percy’s probably one my favorite characters of all time. Seriously.
